Snap review! Grimspace – Ann Aguirre

Grimspace (Sirantha Jax, #1)Grimspace by Ann Aguirre

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

First leap into S.F and it took some getting into. There were points that irritated me, i’d have liked the ending to be less polished and some plot/space-technical terms needed more clarity. But the suspense was enough to urge me to read it quite quickly and compulsively.
I think i will give the next book a chance even though i don’t go out of my way usually to pick up a Science Fiction book. In fact, i don’t know how i ended up with this, it’s not like i binge-bought it online as i sometimes do with ebooks -it’s a paperback! Haha.

Anyway! Aguirre’s world that she’s created within Grimspace has endless possibilities for continued adventure and the character’s will be memorable for a while.
In fact, thinking about them one-by-one, i like the character’s quite a bit.

Recommended to those who enjoy a sci-fi with a mouthy, strong, yet vulnerable heroine.
